First Comenius meeting in Queenswood School Morley, UK
Being in England, project participants got acquainted with the educational system of the Great Britain.
All the participants:
- Took active part in sports competitions and sports meetings;
- Visited Morley City Hall;
- Visited modern Headingley Carnegie Stadium where we were able to see and hold the Super League Trophy that ‘Leeds Rhinos’ won;
- The participants were at the National Coal Mining Museum where the guide at a depth of 40 meters under the ground told us how coal was extracted during the time of Queen Victoria;
- Children met interesting people, made new friends, overcame social and cultural barriers, and also had a wonderful possibility to practice their English.

Comenius multilateral Project ”Wake - up, Shake - up: Promoting health and fitness”
This homepages features information on the "Wake-up,Shake-up:Promoting health and fitness" project, which is an international collaboration of eight European primary school from 2012 - 2014. The project is financed by the European Unions Comenius Programme. The aim of the project are: to foster new links with partner schools across Europe; to combat concern about diet and physical fitness amongst students; to compare and contrast ways of life; to provide support in order to adopt a healthier lifestyle; to promote a deeper understanding of cultural identity.
