First Comenius meeting in Queenswood School Morley, UK

Being in England, project participants got acquainted with the educational system of the Great Britain.

All the participants:

  • Took  active part in sports competitions and sports meetings;
  • Visited Morley City Hall;
  • Visited modern Headingley Carnegie Stadium where we were able to see  and hold the Super League Trophy that ‘Leeds Rhinos’ won;
  • The participants  were at the National Coal Mining Museum where the guide at a depth of 40 meters under the ground told us how coal was extracted during the time of Queen Victoria;
  • Children met interesting people, made new friends, overcame social and cultural barriers, and also had a wonderful possibility to practice their English.
